The West Surrey Association of Surveyors, Auctioneers and Estate Agents was formed in 
1953 when the senior partners of the then leading firms of estate agents in Guildford and
Woking saw the need to introduce a code of conduct that could he adhered to and policed
within the profession locally.

    Since its inception the rules, guidelines and working practices of the West Surrey Association have been
    subject to review in line with legislation and changing times, but in essence the same
    principles and aims of the West Surrey Association remain today. These are to promote and
    maintain the highest professional standards in the area, foster relationships
    with other  professional bodies and encourage a high ethical standard of practice combined
    with  commercial experience.

    Members of the West Surrey Association now eclipse the Surrey boundaries (notwithstanding the international portfolio's) and estate agents offices detailed on this site extend also to Hampshire and West Sussex.
